WANTED: English-Speaking Nanny for a Family in Berlin-Dahlem

Role Overview

• Employment type: Long-term permanent position
• Language: Native-level (or near-native) English; basic German sufficient
• Weekly hours: approx. 35 hours/week
• Schedule: Mainly afternoons from 2 PM, plus flexibility for evenings, weekends & travel
• Start date: As soon as possible (flexible onboarding)
• Salary: €23.00 – €28.00 gross/hour, depending on experience & qualification
• Travel: Regular domestic & international travel required
• Driver’s licence: Preferred but not mandatory

About the Family

• 4-person household with two working parents and two children (ages 4 and 6)
• Open, international environment
• Active lifestyle with regular travel

Your Key Responsibilities

• Providing loving, age-appropriate childcare in English
• Afternoon supervision of both children
• Pick-up from Kita and school
• Accompanying the children to activities, hobbies, and playdates
• Encouraging creativity, movement, social skills, and independent play
• Supporting the children during domestic and international trips
• Preparing simple, healthy meals/snacks (breakfast, light lunch, afternoon snack)
• Helping maintain organisation in the children’s rooms and with toys

Your Profile

• Extensive experience with children aged 2–8
• High flexibility and reliability
• Ideally experience in a private household
• Pedagogical background or relevant childcare training
• Professional, discreet and loyal approach
• Independent, structured, proactive and warm working style
• Driver’s licence (Class B) advantageous
